Lisa is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who takes a collaborative and client-led approach, creating a space where individuals feel supported and empowered to make meaningful change. She strongly values evidence-based practice and works closely with clients to set clear goals and track progress, ensuring that therapy leads to real and lasting outcomes.
Lisa provides comprehensive cognitive assessments (often called IQ tests), which are standardised evaluations of skills such as language understanding, spatial reasoning, problem‑solving, memory, and processing speed. These assessments can give an overall indication of intellectual ability, highlight areas of strength, and identify areas that may need support, and they are often useful when exploring conditions such as ADHD, Intellectual Disability, or Learning Disabilities, or when planning academic or vocational accommodations. She also provides academic assessments that look at skills in language, reading, writing, and maths, comparing performance to same‑age peers and to an individual’s intellectual capacity. These assessments help identify specific learning difficulties (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or Dyscalculia), guide educational planning, monitor the impact of interventions, and inform decisions about school, university, or career pathways.
Lisa enjoys supporting individuals managing depression, anxiety, workplace challenges, adjustment difficulties, PTSD, trauma, and ADHD. She has experience working with both adults and children across private and public settings, including significant experience in hospital environments supporting people living with chronic pain and other complex health conditions.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Schema-informed approaches, Lisa tailors her work to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
Lisa currently holds registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has completed qualifications in Clinical Psychology through Western Sydney University.
